Pageant Farewell Speech Recordings and Slideshows

This article will provide information on the instruction and the requirements needed for our Audio Recording and/or Photo Slideshow service. Please read the instruction and requirements carefully before you schedule a recording session with Evergreen Creative Company.

Audio Only

Requirements:

  • The speech script needs to be separated into small parts or paragraphs instead of one long paragraph to make the script easier to read.

  • Ensure the script is written in a talking tone/voice instead of a writing tone/voice.

  • Practice the speech by reading it aloud before the recording session.

  • Please provide a copy of the speech script for post-production purposes.

  • We do not provide music for speech recordings. It is recommended that the production crew plays music with the track while the speech is being played.

Audio + Photo Slideshow

Requirements:

  • All photos need to be organized by the client before sending them to Evergreen Creative Company following these guidelines:

    • 20 photos for each minute of the audio recording.

    • Rename all the photo files using numbers in the same order they need to be placed in the slide shows. (Right-click on the photo file > Rename)

    • If you want multiple photos to be played together on the same slide, name those photos with the same number and follow with a different number.

Example Below: These three photos circled in red are named to play together on the same slide

  • Provide a copy of the speech script.

  • Label each part with the photo where you want the image to appear on the slideshow. 

Example Below: The number shows exactly which picture will be played throughout the speech.

Music: We do not provide music for speech recordings. It is recommended that the production crew plays music with the track while the speech is being played.

Note: If you would like Evergreen Creative Company to choose what photos are used and where they are placed, we can do that. However, still please provide us with a beginning photo and ending photo to use.

Pageant Service Form

Pageant Services Terms & Conditions

  1. Due to copyright laws, we cannot use copyrighted or unlicensed music. If you would like to pick out music, please click this link and send us the artist and song(s) title. We recommend instrumental music. Music with lyrics can be distracting and conflict with a voiceover.

  2. Payment is due upon the scheduled recording date.

  3. You must fill out the form above.

  4. Any slideshows beyond a standard slideshow is a custom quote. Price will vary depending on the slideshow needs.

    1. Standard slideshows are defined as the following:

      1. White background

      2. Standard transitions at the beginning and end.

      3. A title card can be added. Please provide the text needed to be shown and the image you would like to have displayed.

      4. Edited voiceover.

      5. Royalty-free music.

  5. If the order of photos is not provided, Evergreen Creative Company (ECC) will take the liberty of photo placement.

  6. Please fill out the form to schedule a recording session for the voiceover/speech recording.

  7. There is only one revision session allowed per recording. If there are further revision requests after the first, there is a $25 editing fee. The goal is to have all the info prior to editing in order to provide an accurate product.

  8. The service is nonrefundable once the appointment date has been set. If the appointment is missed or skipped, the service fee is forfeited.

  9. The client is responsible for recording releases for people, property, and locations.

  10. The client will provide a clear direction and vision for the project.

  11. The client allows (ECC) to use the footage for marketing and portfolio purposes.

  12. ECC reserves the right to discontinue recording.

  13. Liability: If ECC or their agent is unable to perform any or all of the duties herein for any reason, including but not limited to, fire, transportation problems, acts of God, accident, illness, or technical problems, and if ECC cannot provide another competent professional as a replacement, all money received by ECC, minus expenses and sessions already completed, will be returned to Client, and ECC shall have no further liability with respect to this agreement. This limitation of liability also applies to any loss/damage of video footage or failure to deliver video footage for any reason. Liability for a partial loss of images/recordings shall be pro-rated based on the percentage of total, minus any completed sessions or products already provided. The sole remedy for any actions or claims shall be limited to a refund whose total amount cannot exceed the total monies paid by Client under this Agreement during the time preceding the date on which such liability arises. Anything outside the control of ECC, ECC cannot be held responsible. 

  14. Any special requests overriding the terms and conditions of this agreement must be specified during the final consultation prior to the recording date.

  15. By placing the order, you agree to the terms and conditions.
